Lori Antolec

Cat 4 Road, Cat 3 Cross, Expert Mountain

Lori has always enjoyed all things outdoors and spends most of her time biking, running and snowboarding as well as a little tennis and volleyball when her schedule permits.  In 2009/2010 she was pulled to the sidelines with a bad health situation (misdiagnosed then mistreated pulmonary embolisms).  The year off gave her a greater appreciation for a ‘just doing it’ attitude…you don’t have to be the best, you just have to have fun!  She was given the all-clear in the fall (cyclocross season) of 2010. She knew nothing about CX but was excited to be back in action – she bought a cx bike, registered for a race and attended her first clinic all in the same week.  The rest is history – she now competes in any mountain or cross race that fits her schedule but says the camaraderie and the amazing people within the racing community are what keep her inspired!
