What motivates you to ride? Being outside, that go-fast feeling, and the great community of cyclists we have.
What racing obstacle have you overcome? having a decent motor can cover up some skill deficiences in the beginning, but eventually you need the skills-and usually you have to slow down to learn them.
Favorite Part of Racing: Winning is always fun, but really, having people chasing me and people to chase helps me push myself harder than I otherwise would.
If you could ride your bike anywhere, where would it be? There are too many places to list.
What are you most proud of in your cycling career? Getting certified as an IMBA skills instructor. I hope to keep advancing through that program.
What is your favorite post ride meal? Burrito or green chili cheeseburger.
What is your superpower? Swearing? Snot rockets? Coffee and brownie consumption.
I began racing cyclocross in 2011 and won the Cat 4 state championship that first year. Since then I’ve explored road racing, but decided dirt was my happy place. Typical season goals include progressing my skills, riding and racing with all the amazing women I’ve met through the sport, and having a good time. I’m a big fan of big days on the bike.
