Katie Harrer
Club Team
Katie is excited to be a new member of Naked/Tribella club team. She started riding in 2006 after a running injury. A hip fracture had her confined to crutches for 8 months. She couldn’t run, she couldn’t even walk, but she could ride a bike. During recovery, she started taking cycling classes and eventually made the transition to road biking. She became an indoor cycling instructor and currently teaches 3-5 classes per week. Though she hasn’t raced, she spends summers doing century rides like the Lake Tahoe Century, Triple Bypass and Copper Triangle. Katie also works in emergency medicine as a physician assistant. She lives in Denver with her cycling partner (boyfriend) and her running partners (two dogs, Kaja and Buddha).
Personal Goals: Start racing! Become a better technical rider. Oh, and the Double Triple Bypass…who’s with me?
