It seems that Katey has been on wheels since she can remember. Earliest memories of bombing down steep hills on her bicycle still ring true. Katey considers exercise a sanity check with two active kids running amok in her home. Although her cycling background is predominately mountain biking; this summer, her husband (an avid road cyclist) and friends convinced her to hop on a second-hand road bike (duly named “Paco”) and give it a shot.  Swearing and swerving away from every car, truck, and van that passed her initially, she’s gained confidence. This year she vows to try cyclocross if her lungs and legs hold up.
