Berta began racing 8 years ago with a woman’s racing developmental team called DAMAS. She likes to consider herself an “all-around” athlete. Berta enjoys swimming, running, triathlon, and cycling. In the off season she competes in biathlon- that is shooting her .22 rifle and skiing. In 2012 she had another great road season.  Mostly due to the camaraderie of Naked Women’s Racing. In 2013, she wants to help Naked Women’s Racing keep their Best All Around Team title.  She would like to help mentor women new to the sport and help her  teammates achieve their cycling goals. Berta believes that doing what you love to do is the most important mantra in life. During the week, Berta manages the Occupational Health Services department at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She will make sure everyone gets their flu vaccinations and is safe on the bicycle.

Racing Since: 2006 – first ever race was Deer Trail in the rain.

Favorite Race: Steamboat Stage Race but LOTOJA is growing on me!

Hobbies:  Knitting, soap making, sewing, shooting my rifle

Status: Married to my tandem captain Paul Majors.

Favorite Post Race Drink: Naked Juice Oat Smoothie

Favorite During Race Drink: Most any product that has a fruity flavor.
