Lanier Allen
Cat 3 Road, Cat 3 CX
As a child, Lanier rode everywhere on her bike. After seeing some Olympic bike racing coverage on television for the first time, she asked her bewildered parents if she could race. To their credit, they were game but had absolutely no idea where a pre-teen girl would race around the Georgia/Florida border. Today, Lanier is thrilled to fulfill her childhood dream with fervor and is grateful for the encouragement of her loving husband, Chad, without whom none of her cycling adventures would be possible. She is also thankful for her daughters, Serena (11) and Kathleen (8), who have accepted her arriving at their activities in full cycling gear. Yes, she’s hooked!
